Martha Ann (Hayes) Johnson

Martha Ann Hayes Johnson was born August 26,1954 to the late Mr. Earlie Hayes and Ms. Lonnie Mae Adair in Ashland, AL.     

Martha transitioned peacefully in the comfort of her home on Monday February 9, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her daughter Stacey Hayes, her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Martha attended Bibb Graves High School graduating in 1972, after high school she was employed with Southland Industries until she decided to start her own business.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Edward Johnson in 1993. It was love at first sight. 

Martha served as a faithful member of the Pleasant Home Baptist Church and community.

She was an usher, sang in the choir, and a member of the Matron Department. Her work never went unnoticed. Martha was known for her kindness, generosity, and her willingness to help family, friends, & others. She will always be remembered by every life she touched.

Her precious memories will be cherished by her husband Mr. Edward Johnson; Sons: Jason Olando Kelly (Taccarra) and Qumorris Johonson; Grandchildren: Tnaiah Dickson-Allred, Trenton Kelly, and Karter Kelly; Brother, Michael Hayes; Sisters: Mrs. Earline Street, Mrs. Inez Smiley, and Mrs. Gaydean Maxwell; A host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
