Mrs. Kathy Faye (Kelly) Williams

Mrs. Kathy Faye Williams was born on June 11, 1959, to the late Primus Norvell and Annie Odell Kelly in Goodwater, AL.

Kathy gave her life to Christ at an early age and became a member of Reaching the World Bible Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She surrounded herself with family and stayed young at heart her whole life. Kathy truly cherished the holiday season. She found her greatest joy in family gatherings, celebrating together, and creating special memories with the people she loved. She was a loving and devoted woman who cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

She attended Goodwater High School and was known throughout her life as a beautiful, sweet lady with a loving spirit. She loved her family and children and was like a mother to many that she met throughout her life. She brought joy to everyone she encountered, and her very presence could light up a room and lift spirits.

On Friday, January 16, 2026, Kathy was called home, leaving behind a love that will remain with us always. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Primus Norvell and Annie Odell Kelly; two sisters, Margarita Kelly and Cynthia Lynn Kelly; and one brother, Norvell Kelly, Jr.

Kathy leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving husband, Alton Williams; 4 children: Tamara (Sean) Brewer of Alexander City, AL; Sicondra Williams of Sylacauga, AL; Sherry Williams of Sylacauga, AL; and Alton (Marquita) Williams, Jr. of Sylacauga, AL; a brother, Jeffrey Kelly of Goodwater, AL; 2 sisters, Carol (Johnny) Wood of Goodwater, AL, and Lesia (Bruce) Kelly-Holden of Union City, GA; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Kathy Williams lived a life of faith, family, and love. Her legacy will continue through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
