Sharon D. Buckner was born March 5,1965 in Kellyton, AL to Mr. Vonell Burton and Ms. Carolyn Marbury.
Sharon attended Bibb Graves High School in Millerville, AL and graduated from Benjamin Russell High School.
At the age of 14, Sharon began working for Russell Co. where she remained there for more than 30 years. Afterwards she took a break to assist her daughter with her two grandchildren.
In 2018, Sharon started working at Seoyoneh in Dadeville, AL. She worked diligently until she was called to her eternal home.
Sharon was a light in her community, she never met an obstacle or problem that she couldn’t solve. She was so positive and always reminded us that “everything is going to be alright”.
Sharon was a great fan of sports, especially Alabama football. She would be so excited dressed in her Crimson and White cheering, “Roll Tide Roll”.
Sharon is survived by her fiancé William Holloway; daughters: Santana Wilson, LaRagan Wilson, and Passion Holloway; Grandchildren Jadyn Moss and Samiyah Norris; Mother, Carolyn Marbury; Sisters: Luchelle Marbury, Khansessa Marbury, Rosland Agee, and Veronica Burton; Brothers: David Marbury, Tito Marbury, and Derrick Burton; Aunts: Wanda McElrath, Belinda Wilson, Sherry Billingsley, Athena Thomas, Sandra McKinney, Evelyn Norris, and Geraldine Marbury; Uncles, Edward Thomas Jr. and J.W. Moon: and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends; Special sisters in Christ, Stacey Wilson & Robbie Edwards.
